Wrestling Club travels to Denver (Sidney Herald)

The Sidney Wrestling Club took 25 wrestlers to the Rocky Mountain Nationals in Denver, Colo., Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The team chartered a bus for parents, coaches and wrestlers to attend one of the toughest wrestling tournaments in the nation. The following wrestlers placed in the top six in the tournament.

CLEVELAND, OH – The Mid-American Conference announced the 2009 Academic All-MAC Wrestling team on Tuesday with University at Buffalo sophomore Kevin Smith (Mexico, NY/Mexico) receiving the honor for the first time in his career.

Wrestling: Grapplers earn medals (The Dexter Leader)

Dexter Wrestling Club competed in multiple tournaments last week. Last Saturday, Silas Niemi and Uriah Niemi finished unbeaten for Dexter at a tournament, while Seth Niemi and Jonah Niemi ended up 3-1 and Ethan Niemi earned a bronze medal for his performance at the meet.
